The NAP starts at the club level and is divided into three flights based on masterpoint totals and potentially three levels of qualification leading up to the Nationals.
Stage 1 - Club Qualification: Qualifying games are held at the club level in June, July and August. Look at the Club Calendar for games with the following remark; "Stratified NAP Qualifying Game." There are at least two opportunities per Club sanction to qualify for NAP. Stage 2 - Unit Qualification (Optional): Unit 164 has elected not to have a Unit Level Qualification game in 2007. Individuals who have received Club Qualification can proceed directly to Stage 3. Stage 3 - District Qualification: A District Qualifying is the last stage that determines the top three pairs in each category, (Open/2000/500) who advance to the National Finals at the spring NABC. Winners of each flight receive reimbursement for airfare and hotels, with other awards available. The District 11 Qualifying game was on Saturday, October 27th, 2007 at the Cincinnati Fall Sectional.
