2006 Summer Bridge Camp for Teens

The Bridge Club of Lexington along with financial support from Unit 164 of the American Contract Bridge League and coordination by the Eagle Creek Branch of the Lexington Public Library is again sponsoring a free Summer Bridge Camp for Middle and High School Students.  Please see the flyer at the bottom of this page.

The purpose of this program is to introduce Middle and High Schools Students to the game of Duplicate Contract Bridge.  Duplicate Bridge is played at thousands of clubs worldwide and "Party Bridge" is played by millions of individuals.  On-line Bridge games and tournaments are becoming increasingly popular.  The game of Bridge can be enjoyed for an entire lifetime yet it always remains challenging and interesting.

Through the generosity of the individual members of the Bridge Club of Lexington and Unit 164 of the ACBL, which is Central and Eastern Kentucky, and the Eagle Creek Branch of the Lexington Public Library we are able to offer this Bridge Camp at no charge to the students.  Each student will receive:
